Dr. Ahmed chose to practice at a community health center because he believes that’s where he can make the greatest difference. Serving patients where the need is highest is important to him, and he was proud to join Finger Lakes Community Health to help strengthen access to care in our region.

As a family physician, he cares for patients of all ages — from newborns to seniors — and values building long-term relationships with the individuals and families he serves. He takes time to truly listen, working with patients to create personalized care plans that support their health goals and overall well-being. He has a special interest in chemical dependency and addiction medicine, and is committed to helping patients navigate recovery with compassion and evidence-based care.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys staying active and embracing adventure. In the winter, you’ll find him skiing; in the summer, riding his motorcycle. He has explored the Pacific Ocean through SCUBA diving and is also a licensed private pilot.
