My grandfather had Alzheimer’s Disease and the outstanding care from his healthcare team helped him get through his journey. That experience, along with my wife’s encouragement, who is also an FNP, encouraged me to pursue a career in medicine.
Mack believes that healthcare works best when patients and providers make decisions together. He encourages open conversations so that care choices are based on the best research, an understanding of the risks and benefits, and the patient’s own goals. His approach is holistic, focusing on the physical, mental, and emotional needs of each person. By working as a team, Mack and his patients create personalized care plans that support good health, wellness, and disease prevention.
He enjoys getting to know his patients and helping them reach their health goals. For Mack, it is rewarding to see someone recover from illness, improve their health, and enjoy a better quality of life. He values being part of a patient’s care from birth through all stages of life, creating a trusted relationship that helps people thrive.
Mack chose to work at a community health center, and specifically Finger Lakes Community Health (FLCH), because he understands the need for accessible, high-quality primary care in the region. He is especially passionate about helping people manage chronic conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and hypertension. His goal is to help patients take control of their health, improve their well-being, and live fuller, healthier lives.
In his spare time he enjoys lifting weights, exercising, spending time with his family and friends. He also loves vacationing and restoring furniture.
