Medicine runs in the family and motivated Dr. Morgan Paul, Medical Director, Bath Community Health

Morgan Paul, MDDr. Morgan Paul, Family Medicine, Bath Community Health and Medical Director, Finger Lakes Community Health

Dr. Paul comes from a long line of family members who were in medicine. His uncle encouraged him to go to medical school. He graduated in June, 2002 from the Medical College of Ohio. Most of his medical career has been spent in rural Appalachia where his patients have always been uninsured and underinsured. “I always felt like I could do the most good there and use more of the skills I was trained to do,” said Dr. Paul.

As the FLCH Medical Director, he provides direct clinical supervision of our medical providers including oversite of clinical guidelines. This position allows Dr. Paul to provide mentorship through clinical supervision and continuous education of changing health regulations.

Board certified in Family Medicine, he enjoys caring for people of all ages. He tries to approach symptoms looking for a cause. Once he knows the cause, he is able to most appropriately address the situation. In addition, he has ten years of experience in wound care, treating a variety of non-healing wounds. Dr. Paul is also interested in cardiology. He previously worked at a hospital where he read EKGs and supervised stress tests.

When he has free time, he enjoys photography and travel. Travel is what brought him to the Finger Lakes and kept bringing him back.
